Ich have a G75vx Notebook and I want to make a recovery disk. I downloaded the latest version BackTracker and bought a 64 GB drive. After the start of BackTracker freezes the program and does not change even after many more hours. In "My Computer" are seen "Restore" "Recovery". What am I doing wrong. many regards,

I have started the program, then factory backup image - start - please chose USB .... - Next - and finally start.
The USB stick writes "creating boot sector" and then freezes the program. greetings from Austria

I think maybe your USB Chip is formatted NTFS you need to clean it and format it Fat 32, Reason you are dealing with a UEIF GPT system, NTFS USB is not compatible at the base level.

Thank you very much for the help. I have partitioned the drive and then formatted with FAT32. The recovery is working now.
