Is there any way to DEFAULT the headphone/speaker size to large?? I mean..

I own a pair of Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro's and some SOL Republic Amps HD buds, and both sound 100% better on "large" setting, and the program always defaults to "small" for some reason. Any way to change this so I don't have to adjust the setting every time I plug in headphones?

I cant access MaxxAudio Settings, and also my expensive skullcandy headphones have a hissing/crackling noise when i plug them in.

edit: G750JX, and the problem occurs with other earphones too.
