G73JH No sound AGAIN [Fixed**]

Well, I plugged in an iPhone on my lower left hand side usb port, shortly after my speakers made some awkward noises, then only my subwoofer would work
then I restored using asus recovery

Now no sound through speakers or subwoofer

Have sound through audio jacks, and HDMI
I believe I have blown the speakers...

how is re-install driver again? if not help, i suggest you send to service center to check.

Fixed**

Headphone jack was shorted to be "plugged in" unplugged the module, works perfectly, ordered a new one.

@slawson12, thanks for the update and glad you were able to solve it.

For those not as familiar with the issue of headphones being stuck on or off and interested, take a look at this thread:

If anybody with this issue is still under warranty though, consider sending it back to your local ASUS service center to take care of (also consider if you're out of warranty?).
