Curious about upgrading from G55 to G750...is it worth it?

Just as a heads up, here is where my G55 is at currently...

3610 OC'd via 105.9 FSB (I get about 3.5gHz out of it in games)
16GB RAM @ 1750ish because of the FSB OC
GTX 660M @ +135 core / +400 RAM
128 Mushkin SSD - OS and Games
750GB Optical Drive Replacement HDD - Games and Storage
Windows 7 64

So currently I have the G55 pretty much cranked out as fast as she can go, she runs great and stays cool (CPU maxes at 80*C and GPU at 78*C using stress tests, both are about 15*C cooler in games). I need to keep the mobility of a lappy but I was thinking about getting something with more power so I can turn up some settings. What do I want to play?

All with as high of settings as possible and at least 40FPS @ 1920X1080

Rust
WoW
Titanfall
BF4
Borderlands
Elder Scrolls Online
The Division


So....will a G750 be worth it or has tech not advanced enough from the G55 series to justify dropping 2 grand on a laptop?

Probably not for the JW, but the JX or above will give you a nice hike in frames, etc.

Maybe do the math on what selling the old, buying the new would cost you, with the 8 series close, probably holding out a little longer as those cards may be a decent chunk better at the same (retail) coin or discounts on current models may come in.
