I keep looking at the video posted showing the M.2 SSD bay and I just don't see them putting in two SSD cards in there. I think the retailers have just copy pasted details from the G750 and made modifications to match the G751 differences and they just left the 2x128GB RAID 0 detail in there assuming it was still the case.

I think the G751's only have one PCIe M.2 port/slot available. And I'm guessing that the $1500 model doesn't come with that little caddy to mount the card on. Hopefully it becomes available soon.

I just got informed by Asus Finland that every G751JY includes the PCIe x4 M.2 connector. Also if the laptop includes an SSD when its sold it is automatically an PCIe x4 M.2 SSD. Altough the M.2 caddy comes only with the M.2 SSD and not with single drive HDD only models (the connector is still there anyway).

What about models without any type of SSD?

There's no definitive news as to whether or not those models come with a second 2.5" drive caddy in that bay or not.

I am personally going to be installing my own 2.5" 512GB SSD in that slot on my G751JT-CH71, so I'd obviously prefer a second drive caddy shipping with all non-ssd G751's.

Guys, can someone please confirm that changing the hard drive yourself does NOT result in a voided warranty? itr is a suer-replaceable part so I would hope that this was not the case, and that we are free to upgrade it whenever we choose.

The 2,5" bays, ODD and 2 of 4 RAM slots are user upgradeable. Tinkering with them does NOT void the warranty. They are meant to be maintained by the user. Hence the easy to open (one screw) bottom hatch.

I have a G751JY in hand and it comes with a 256 SSD PCIE. There's only one PCIE connector in HDD tray 1 the other one is a standard SATA in tray 2.

my G751jy came with 256gb ssd and 1tb spinner took it apart there is a sata connector on the opposite side of the spinner bay
    (2 - sata) and (1 - M.2) can only use 2 at once.
