As the previous user said "most" laptops don't allow you to change Motherboard, CPU or GPU so when buying those are the things you'd want to be higher up in tiers
There are some laptops now that I've seen user say do allow changing of certain things but I'm not sure if your is one of them, you'd probly know better
Also as the previous user said each "set" of processors uses a different socket so u can't just plug whatever in, would be like trying to plug a 3 prong plug into a 2 prong outlet
