Best Liquid Cooling Kit for ROG Rig

Today I broke down and purchased new ROG components to build a new gaming rig. My last build was in 2006 or 2007 and it consisted of the following:

Case: CoolerMaster Cosmos 1
Power Supply: Powemax 1000W
MOBO: Asus P5N Deluxe
CPU: Intel Q6700 (no o.c.)
RAM: Corsair 2x 2Gb (4GB total)
VPU'S: 2x EVGA 8800 GTS o.c. SLI (only one is working now...barely)
HDDs: 1x SATA 1TB WD Blue 7200RPM (??? on xfer rate or buffer)
OS: Window 7 Ultimate 64MB (OEM)

I just ordered the following:
MOBO: Asus ATX DDR3 1600 LGA1150 Maximus VII Formula. ROG edition
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K (8M Cache and up to 4.4GHz) [BX80646I74790K]
RAM: Corsair Vengence 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR3 1600MHz (PC3 12800) [CMZ16GX3M2A 1600C10]
GPU: 1x Asus Poseidon GTX980-P-4GD5. ROG edition
CPU o.c. & Fan Control: Asus ROG Front Base dual-bay Gaming Panel
HDD: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6 GB/s 64MB Cache
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64MB (OEM)

I plan on using the same case and power supply and SATA Optical drive. Will it work?

I am looking for recommendations for a cooling system that can cool the MOBO, CPU, and VPU that will fit in that case and be able to utilize the ROG front base too?

I also want to continue to use my Samsung Syncmaster 226BW monitor w/ the DVI. Is this going to be compatible?

I am new to this site too so I look forward to swapping notes with you all in the future. Thank you in advance for your input.

I recommend going to another case, there are many cost-efficient cases with tons of radiator space.
I would recommend the corsair carbide air 540

second on the air540. I am using this case and it is so nice to work with

My water cooled rig is in the air 540 as well.
You can go dual 120 rad at the top, then 3 120/2 140 rad in the front, and still be able to use the drive bays in the other partition of the case.

You can go with higher speed ram if you want. These cpu's now adays can handle high speed ram up to 3000MHz. The memory controller is now built into the cpu, not the motherboard. If this fits in your budget you could change your order to these. This is one of the best ram kits on the market and will look sweet in your board.

Your psu should work although there have been known issues with psu's that are not haswell certified. Your optical drive and monitor should work too.

You could run everything you have on one triple fan rad if you wanted to go that route. You will have to check if you have enough bays which you should.

I'm not sure if this comes with tubing or rad fans.

I read on another forum that 2400MHz Ram was an overkill because the pipeline to the CPU in only 1600. I had the Corsair Vengange 2400 in my cart before I read that post but after ding so I went back and replaced it with the 1600 stuff. It said that can be overclocked for higher speeds. The 1600 RAM was delivered today but I would still like to know for sure what is better and most efficient to run with my new CPU & MOBO, 1600 or 2400?

Thnaks for the input though, guys. I was looking at a bunch of case mods and cooling systems on this site last night and tonight and I am blown away (at what money can buy) and the creativeness of people and their cases. I love the idea of a computer being built within the desk itself. But I don't have the skills or bankroll to to that. So I will dream on and make the best with what I have. Thanks again.

Hey Sniper876

Any ram kit with speeds over 1600MHz is considered overclocked. These cpu's can handle it though, I have 2800MHz ram, 2400MHz seems to be the sweet spot for your cpu.

Ok then. Looks like I'll be trading up my RAM.

I should have noted this too.

If I could talk you into an SSD, that will make your pc more snappier and boot faster.

Did that too but now I am having crash problems. But I am going to take that to a different thread. I ended up getting a Corsiair H75 CPU cooler. Runs a about 30'Cat idle. I haven't put it under stress yet. Thanks for all of your input.
