Maximus VI Hero - Problem with resolution inside UEFI

Hi,

I have a Maximus VI Hero board, BIOS version 1402. When I had the desktop hooked up to a FullHD TV, the UEFI showed up at the native resolution, but now that I'm using a ROG Swift, it is upscaled to fit the screen and shows some weird artifacts I had never noticed before with the previous screen. Don't know if it is normal behavior or not. Is there a way to change the resolution inside the UEFI?

Hello Nate,

Thank you for your answer. Just to confirm, are you talking about UEFI/BIOS resolution? Because my problem is inside the UEFI environment, desktop resolution is fine at 2560 x 1440. Does ASUS UEFI support resolutions above 1080p?

I've never seen an option to change the screen resolution in the bios.

What kind of artifacts are you getting? Explain a little more please.
