G53SW blue screen after dvd burning

When ever I burn a DVD it gets to the finalizing DVD stage and my laptop blue screens and restarts. The DVD turns out perfectly fine though. Do I need a driver update or something? What could be the problem?

What burning software are you using? I would first suspect an issue with that particular program, so to troubleshoot, can you try a different burning program?

I'm using ConvertXtoDVD 4 and from the looks of it I needed to uncheck the "Eject disc when finished" option. I'm trying that now. I may have posted here prematurely.

OK that seemed to fix it. Sorry for posting prematurely guys!

Hi,

You can download CCleaner and run "registery" to check if it finds something wrong with your computer.
(it's always nice to get rid of the crap that slowing down your notebook/computer so it would act normal again) 🙂

Perhaps that would help 🙂

Thanks for the reply. As I said, I found a fix. I also already have CCleaner but I think I'll run it now that you mentioned it lol
