980TI GPU's
you need 2 980TI's to get a good FPS in the top notch graphics setup.
but TBH 60HZ is slow ( i think so ) and 4K is too soon for now.

TitanX outperforms 980Ti, if money truly is no object. But they cost about 50% more and apparently give only about 5% more real-world (fps) performance. NVidia's Pascal GPUs are anticipated for 2016 and will supposedly blow existing GPUs away.

The R5E is Asus's flagship X99 mobo, and it's a truly excellent beast, and I'm unaware of any newer Asus X99 mobos coming out soon ... but a few competing X99 mobos are now just a teeny bit better in various ways and the R5E is starting to gett a little long in the tooth and there has been much demand for a "Rampage V Extreme Black Edition", so I wouldn't be surprised to see one hit the shelves in 2016.

Intel has already announced new X99/i7-6xxx processors for 2016. But - if money is no object - you could get a little more oomphf by buying one of their higher-binned Xeon counterparts.

Core i7-4790K is indeed the fastest-clocked Intel CPU part, but the best mobo you could run it on would use a Z97/DDR3 chipset.

The 980ti is a 4k gaming gpu and as kkn says you will need at least two of them in sli for a good gaming experience. But the 980ti's could be short lived with its 6GB of Vram. The titan x and 980ti are your two options for 4k from Nvidia. GTAV and Shadow of Morder with the HD pack can use 6GB of Vram. If you must have now I'd probably go with two titan x's to future proof the Vram. if you were going anything other than 4k I'd say the 980ti's.

The king of kings cpu is the 8 core 5960x but does it beat out the 5930k? Depends on the game.

One advantage with X99 you get the full bandwidth at x16 for both gpu's.

Chino's suggestion with three 980ti's will give you more frames per second and I like it. It will ensure 60FPS but it's a question of how long the 6GB of Vram will last and noone can really say for sure. As of right now they could play any game except for the two I listed which could hit the 6GB of Vram, once the 6GB of Vram is used up performance suffers greatly.

If you already have the monitor you could add another Titan x and the total would be around 5,250.00.
