So, so sad.

My new December model looks about the same..

Asus blatantly lied about these panels being "resolved" from December models onwards.

Also got a December model last Saturday... Looks just as bad:-(

Since this is a IPS styled panel you will see this backlight effect with every IPS display out there. What I can't tell though is when you change your viewing angle does the obvious bleed in the image on your post go away as you go farther right or does it stay obvious brown like in the picture.

I have my PG279Q and I see very minimal (brown) Bleeding effect (like .1% - .01%) vs just having the normal IPS glow display issues like on every display. Also keep in Mind A TON of gaming users are switching from their TN panels which the stock IPS glow doesn't exist in any way so a lot of TN panel gamers will be more critical of the monitor even if its just the standard IPS glow and may not realize its not a "issue". Yours looks pretty obvious though with the "brown" tint you can see in the image and the odd fact that there is almost none on the left.

I just got mine a few days ago. Like i said mine have almost 0 bleed. BUT on a white screen I ended up having the yellow tint issue only on the top half which is stupid.
