I have 8 sticks of adata ddr4 2800 and having trouble OC past 4200 and getting the ram to go beyond the 2133.
Any brands you guys can recommend me using to make it easier to OC?

Im targetting at least 2400mhz for the ram and for my 5960x clocking around 4400-4500.

I need the 64gb ram because my system will be editing 4k files on premiere pro

For easiest (and probably highest) OC you should use in any case one kit of four modules.

I used two of these... G-Skill - F4-2400C15Q-32GRK, which is pretty much F4-2400C15Q2-64GRK I believe.

Hey,

It might have worked well for you but doing that, is looking for trouble plain and simple. If OP sees that, plz do not do that.

I've always have good luck with HyperX RAM. Recently grabbed a Savage DDR4 64GB kit for a Skylake build and it works wonderfully. So I would expect the same behaviour for Haswell-E.

1 hour Stressapp pass at XMP speed (DDR4 2666, CAS 15 @ 1.2V)

1 hour Stressapp pass at DDR4 3200, CAS15 @ 1.35V
