I have a G501vw notebook.

If computer blue screens or freezes, when i hold the power button down, it forces shutdown, as expected.

BUT, as soon as I release the power key, it starts up immediately again.

I don't want the pc to boot up. How do I set it that way?

I can keep holding the power button down and it will not reboot, but as soon as I release the key, it boots up.
I don't like that

Check BIOS settings to change 'options' upon power failure
