ACPI fans gone after updating BIOS to 3202

I just updated my Maximus VIII Impact BIOS from 2202 to 3201 replicating in the new BIOS the exact configuration I had in the old one
Upon restart I noticed that all my Windows 10 ACPI Fans and Thermal Zones have now disappeared (see attached images before and after update).

The system seems to be working OK so I'm wondering if this is by design or a bug in the new BIOS.
I read quite a few complains about 3201. Perhaps I should just flashback 2202 (which was very stable) and wait for a newer one.

hi m
If clean CMOS or reset to the default does the ACPI Fans and Thermal Zones are appeared?

I think its a bios bug. I have same issue here in Ranger VIII with 3201 bios. When I try renable in Monitor tab, my bios freeze.

I tried that. I also tried to flash back to 2202 (and the fans reappeared) and then to 3201 again: the fans in Windows 10 are always gone with BIOS 3201.

I'm using three Noctua NF-P14 FLX (non PWM) fans and they are all connected to the external fan module.
The following is my complete list of BIOS changes (from optimized defaults):

Advanced:
CPU Configuration
Intel Virtualization Technology Enable
CPU Power Management Control
Intel SpeedStep Enable
System Agent Configuration
VT-d Enable
APM Configuration
ErP Ready Enable (S4+S5)

Monitor:
T_Sensor1 Temp. Ignore
EXT_Sensor1 Temp. Ignore
EXT_Sensor2 Temp. Ignore
EXT_Sensor3 Temp. Ignore
CPU Fan Speed Ignore
Chassis Fan 1 Speed Ignore
Q-Fan Configuration:
CPU Q-Fan Control Disabled
Chassis Fan(s) Configuration:
Chassis Fan 1 Q-Fan Control Disabled
Ext. Fan(s) Configuration #1
Q-Fan Control DC Mode
Q-Fan Source Motherboard
Speed Low Limit 200 RPM
Profile Silent
Ext. Fan(s) Configuration #2
Q-Fan Control DC Mode
Q-Fan Source CPU
Speed Low Limit 200 RPM
Profile Silent
Ext. Fan(s) Configuration #3
Q-Fan Control DC Mode

Boot:

I tried this too. Its a buggy bios fault. Please Asus, fix this bios.

Yes, 3201 seems pretty broken.
Flashed back to 2202 and waiting for new version.

I done same here. Used bios flashback and downgrade to bios 2202.

I have done the same... 2202 is the unfortunately still the newest stable version. With 3201 the Bios completly freezed when i want to save changes.

I gave this one a shot for a couple days. Tried multiple update methods, cmos clear, fresh install, no luck. I see the same issues others have reported:

1) ACPI fan issues
2) Logitech keyboard does not work in UEFI, old Microsoft pos ergo worked ok if that ergo sux
3) inconsistent entry into UEFI using Windows troubleshoot method

I rolled back to 2202. Be patient guys - you are right, asus should not be putting out releases like this. But it is very difficult to find competent testers with access to wide ranges of equipment these days.

I can confirm that i have all these issues listed with my M8E, the only good thing since november 2015, period when i bought this motherboard, is the finally fixed shutdown problems that i had since building my newest pc, 9 from 10 times the computer was still running all the fans without going off completely.
