Assuming you're not going to be compiling your own kernel and all that fun stuff since you dont use linux already, you can make do with a live install usb disk. You should be able to boot without issue and install phoronix and run some tests. reboot, change bios settings, re-run the test you had installed and run again. Then link people to the test results that you were given the option to upload. Without actually installing or changing your system at all (aside from the bios).

That's the simple way if you really wanted to get some numbers behind the claims and there aren't any good windows alternatives for you to try out. There may be windows alternatives out there for something like that, i dont generally care about windows benchmarks so i'm not familiar with what suites are freely available.

Any word on a new BIOS that actually fixes more than it breaks?

When bios 1703 to 6001. Memory completed changed, memtest error popping under 100 % from non error 10.000%+. It takes me weeks to get 3466c14 stable. Now I am looking for shortcut what you guys changed to keep memory stable.

There is definity something wrong with this bios 3466c14 14-14-14-14-30-44 rest auto(really high timing) error within 20 %.

UEFI contain AEGSA changes at times. There can also be CPU, SMU, IMC firmware updates in a UEFI. At times the changes within these firmwares could mean a profile on a differing UEFI does not work at same settings.

Seems the IMC update is a downgrade to me. Testing 3502 with same setup memtest when error under 200 % any change will have below 100 %. Higher voltage will lead to 50 % error test. Probably the gap between the soc voltage and the memory shall not different more than 50 as I am running 1.1325v 1.4v. I though my 1700 was really crappy as it lack ability to run 3466c14 single ranked and it is won't even boot 3900 on bios 6001 plus the reviews having nothing but actually golden samples. Atleast run memtest with 3333c14 same setting and lead to 2000 % easy without error. Gotta mention that the memtest cannot detect "nvidia not working follow by recovery" error(descripted on event viewer though and saw my own eye).

Yes, I also noticed this, so I am back on 3008, which seems like a sweet spot for my 1700 and my memory, CPU working @1.34V LLC3 3.8GHz (for 3.9GHz need 1.4V+ for full stability so keeping at 3.8GHz) stable and memory on 3466CL14 with tight subtimings @1.39V. With 6001, same setting is not stable. No time to investigate and fine tune, and why would I, if 3008 works just fine. 6001 is update mostly just for new CPUs, so if I decide to buy Zen+/Zen2 CPUs one day, I will update, until then staying on 3008.

ProcODT is lower and the Rtt settings need to be changed. Playing around with 6001 for less than a day produced stable settings with less DRAM voltage even. 3008 seemed like a sweet spot too till was able to figure out 6001.

I have better stability with 3008 vs 3502 still not able to run 3466c14 pass 200 % without error. I am wondering if their disparse the variant frequently as balancing setting. Cause hitting 3466c14 was already difficult task here.
