Usb 2 pins

Hi

I bought the corsair 120 hd fans and now i want the Node Pro with strips, but that Node pro box comes with a mini usb to usb 2 internal pin header cable

And i allready used up the rog ext for my commander mini corsair box. And the 1314 usb pins dont fit since these pins are opposite the cable plug for the usb mini cable...

I heard the Rog ext is a 2 x usb port..how do that work ?

How can i install this node pro box ?
I need an internal 2.0 header more..is there some sort of splitter cable that makes Rog ext using 2 headers pins ?

I also have this usb 3.1 port under the digital number box..can that be used somehow ?

I hope you understand what i mean.

Do maximus ix formula only have 1 usb header..so im forced to buy a external usb header from ntxz gen ?

The Maximus IX Formula has an ROG_EXT header and a usb 2.0 header but as I understand you can only use one or the other, not both. So yes this let's you with one usb 2.0 header, it's the same on my Maximus IX Code.

Yes, you only have the middle one as a usb 2.0 header.

What a downer..the thing is i bought these 6 corsair fans and then i wanted it to be easy to install, so i bought the commander mini box for the power to the fans, then there is also a LED box for these fans..thats 2 boxes allready..then i bought the Node pro strip kit with another box...and i also bought the ntzx usb 2 expander..so basicly thats 3 boxes and 1 print plate i neeed to hide on the back plate in my coolermaster pro 5 case

NZXT Internal USB Hub is the only way to go, surprisingly no one else has the same issue as us with many internal devices needing internal USB pins, Asus should consider making a expansion board.
