Hi Blood.A

Welcome to the ROG forum.

Try using sleep with your system at default settings and see if it wakes, this could be a sign of instability.

Please list your complete pc specs.

Sleep issue is broken. I have reported this too.
Under advanced setting...sleep I changed into hibernate instead.
That works for me.
It's an nvidia driver problem*

1080 ti strix

i dont know if its and Nvidia problem i got it to with my Z270, but the strange things its that the same issue happend when i change my new 1070gtx with my old 960gtx, the same issue occur, so i dont know if its Nvidia Problem, if i built up my old rig I5 3750k with my asus z-77 the probem solve..

I seem to have fixed the problem doing the following:

1: In BIOS, Advanced > APM Config : set ErP Ready to Enable(S4+S5)
2: Save and reboot (F10)
3: Open Control Panel for Power Options
4: In left pane click on "Change what the power buttons do"
5: Click on "Change settings that are currently unavailble"
6: Make sure "Turn on fast startup (recommended) is *unchecked*
7: Go back one level and click on "Change when computer sleeps"
8: Click on "Change advanced power settings" and a dialog box will pop up
9: Scroll down to "Sleep" , click on the "+"
10: Set "Allow hybrid sleep" to "Off", Set "Hibernate after" to "Never"
11: Repeat for all Power plans

I changed all of these at once so I'm not sure if all of them are required and I'm making no claim that this is the best solution. In particular, I'm betting these settings will increase power usage in sleep mode, but I don't know yet if the power increase is significant. I'm betting any increase in power usage will be minimal and I don't mind for now that "fast startup" is disabled because my current rig boots from an M.2 NVME SSD.

Hope this helps.

Anyone check the steps mentioned above?

All I did was enable Erp to Enable S4+S5, it was off
that's it
Deafult settings for power options
System goes to sleep

After 15 mins I tried waking, system starts with black screen
Q Code 55 or SS

Suggestion?

Try using all the steps to see if it works.

If it does, you can then revert one setting at a time then retest sleep mode. That should let you home in on the minimal solution.

Seems your Qcode of 55 indicates a memory problem. Maybe set the BIOS to use standard JDEC settings for memory, i.e, if you're using XMP settings, disable XMP. You could also try removing all memory sticks but one. I seem to recall that non-compatible memory could cause a Qcode of 55.
