with 1403 i'm reach 3200mhz (cpu-Z show me 1599mhz) with 4x 8GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3600Mhz easely but so many cold boot crash

with 9920 so many cold boot crash too (no difference) and with the same config for my ram CPU-Z show me 900mhz...

when RAM frequency is AUTO my ram is clocked at 1000Mhz...

the new profile is only for 2 stick of ram.

Please add 4 stick ram preset ^^

@Raja@ASUS: sorry for my state of mind but when you paid for the most expensive board you want the most expensive experience, not the worst...

I've edited your post to remove the expletives, its against forum rules. You won't get another warning.

If you have a legit bug, lay out a proper post detailing the issue.

This is the 1st bios since the 1st day that I could boot 2666. Major improvement so far for me.

my question is:

What is this bios ?!?!?!?

Yeh me to bro my trident z RBG 3600mhz ram work 3466 mhz 1.375v cl14 stability 1403
new bios worse then 1403 too much crash and no stablility :(:(:(:(

This is the first stable BIOS for me with 4X8GB sticks of F4-3600C15 above 3,200MHz. However, I seem to have the same issue I have had previously with other BIOS's, including the 1403. When setting the RAM timings to C15-15-15-15-35-1T in the BIOS, the RAM shows as C16-15-15-15-35-1T under CPU-Z, AIDA64, and Thaiphoon Burner. Why can't I set my memory to C15 and actually have it boot into Windows at C15? I have tried voltages up to 1.425 for the RAM as well as tweaking other voltages with no luck. The BIOS shows the timings set at C15 but it boots C16 for some strange reason. I don't recall if this happened on the 9945 but I did specifically notice this on 1401, 1403, and 9920.

Any memory speeds at 2666 and above with cas latency set to an odd number will be rounded up to an even number. This is a feature from the Agesa code and there is nothing Asus can do about that.

That must only apply to the Command Rate being set to 1T, which is what I have been trying for. I can't get my 4 sticks to boot stable with 1T but at least they are booting at 3,600MHz again. At 2T though, they boot at C15 just fine and show up in CPU-Z, AIDA64, and Thaiphoon Burner at C15. Hopefully they prove to be stable. I may try 3,733 at some point if they are stable at the current settings.

I'd rate it on par with 1401 based on my experience so far. 1403 wasn't great for me but that seems to vary by user.

mileage may vary for everyone, have been getting steady improvement upto 1403, but ****show for 9920 for me XD
reported issue I have and USB flash back to 1403 ftw 😄
Good luck
I guess miracle happens when you can't sleep 😜
looks like I have somehow been able to flash and have the bios working properly,
still trying to sort out what I have done differently to make it work this time 😛
