hi all,

just got new sennheiser headset and i have the mic and headphone plugged into the front of the case and its still showing as speaker. how do i get it to actually show the sennheiser headphones? is this possible?

I was hoping to be able to achieve this

current driver is realtek 'Realtek_Audio_Driver_Win7-81-10_V6017960'

he things I've done so far are:
Uninstall the above mentioned driver and run stock windows. Displays headphone but does not recognise that it is a sennheiser game one;
Install different realtek drivers. Same result. Recognised as speaker; and
all the device manager stuff.

plugging in the front is not the way to use any headset. Mostly all case will disable normal speakers and route the sound to the front display and still will say that it is using the speakers. Take note that front panel is not made for daily use and it will break sooner then you think.

Not sure am guessing it is 3.5 jack connector and not a USB ? If it is USB besure to put it in USB3 ... not so sure. But generally it is a jack what Sennheiser uses.

I have tried plugging into the back. this makes them come up as a speaker.

in the sound settings you can change the device. Also there the headset should pop up. Sometime you should click show all devices
