ASUS MAXIMUS HERO IX - Error "00"

Ledgerson
Level 7
Hello,

Brand new PC here with an Hero IX MB. Installed everything and received an "00" error. From what I read around, everyone says "dead CPU". To be sure, I tried every available solution I found but to no avail.

I will provide pictures of my CPU and the socket. If someone can tell me if the pins are bent and can they be fixed or do I need get a new one?

Thanks in advance.*

It looks like bent or broken pins on the middle right side of the socket. But can't tell for sure from that pic.

Best to use a magnifying glass to inspect closer.
