The ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM stuns with a 4th Gen QD-OLED panel

The ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM in a full gaming PC setup

Patient gamers are always rewarded. We’re now three years out since the debut of the first ROG OLED gaming monitors, and we haven’t spent that time sitting on our hands. We relentlessly expanded our portfolio with options that cater to the preferences of every gamer. But perhaps you’re still on the fence, watching for the perfect model. Your wait is about to be over. Today, we’re making a triumphant return to the popular 27-inch format to deliver our most premium OLED gaming monitor yet: the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM. Ready for dazzling gaming experiences with its thoroughly next-level feature set, the PG27UCDM is the OLED gaming monitor that you’ve been waiting for.

Cutting-edge OLED tech

The ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM gets the premium treatment with a 4th Gen QD-OLED panel. It packs a 4K 3840x2160 resolution inside a 27-inch diagonal for a stunning 166 PPI. That gives you lusciously detailed and lifelike images in gaming worlds, and crisp, highly readable text during everyday use.

But this is an ROG monitor — it's built for high-end gaming experiences first and foremost. The PG27UCDM pairs its high resolution with a fluid 240Hz refresh rate ready to handle fast-paced action. Since it wields an OLED panel, you not only get stunningly smooth animation, you also get impeccable image clarity thanks to its ultra-low 0.03ms (GTG) response time. FreeSync Premium Pro keeps your visuals tear-free and low-latency in both SDR and HDR content. When the bullets start to fly in your favorite competitive game, you’ll have a commanding view of the battlefield.

Next-level bandwidth for premium visuals

Pairing such a high resolution with a high refresh rate demands a port selection with plentiful bandwidth. We’re equipping the PG27UCDM with a cutting-edge suite of connectivity options. It starts with a DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 port capable of up to 80Gbps of throughput thanks to the four lanes of the UHBR20 link. That allows you to drive 4K 240Hz without compression. Console gamers can get in on the action, too, with a fully loaded HDMI 2.1 port that automatically serves up variable refresh rates.

Your monitor can play an important role in making it convenient to connect all your gear, especially if you intend to hook up the PG27UCDM to your gaming laptop. This monitor’s integrated USB Hub lets you connect your most important peripherals simply by connecting one cable. Additionally, we include a USB Type-C port ready for up to 90W USB Power Delivery so that you have a handy place to rapidly recharge your devices.

New tools to combat flicker

In certain scenarios, users have noticed a flickering behavior with standard OLED monitors — specifically, when in-game frame rates fluctuate rapidly with variable refresh rate enabled. ROG-exclusive OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 is the answer. This solution combines two features. The first, which is already available on many ROG OLED monitors, allows you to select between two refresh rate ranges (middle and strong) to reduce flicker. We refined this feature for ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 to support a wider refresh rate range. The second features uses a luminance compensation algorithm to dynamically boost pixel brightness based on real-time detection of the panel’s refresh rate. All told, ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 reduces perceived on-screen flicker by up to 20%, compared to models using previous-gen QD-OLED panels.

Unparalleled HDR experiences

OLED monitors are a popular pick for HDR content due to their signature inky blacks and eye-catching highlights. We equipped the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM for excellent HDR experiences with support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision. For those connecting the PG27UCDM to an HDR-capable game console, we include Dynamic Brightness Boost to increase the visual impact.

OLED Care Pro protects your investment

ROG OLED monitors have always led the industry in minimizing the risk of burn-in affecting your long-term experience with an OLED monitor. The ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM features our latest efforts on this front. It starts with an advanced neo proximity sensor that transitions the display to a black image whenever you step away, reducing your risk of burn-in every time you’re called away from the game. This sensor’s wavelength detection method guarantees accurate measurements of your distance from the display, without interference from random lights or colors, and for convenience the detection distance can be customized to suit your personal preferences.

For ultimate peace of mind, ASUS OLED Care Pro gives you a full set of customizable monitor settings. These optimizations protect the OLED panel and maintain image quality over the long term. A lot of these functions run behind the scenes without any effort from you, but many can be tweaked or adjusted easily. They’re readily available through the monitor’s OSD, but if you’d prefer to adjust them without so much as picking up your hands from your mouse and keyboard, check out the DisplayWidget Center app. Either way, you’ll have access to Screen Saver, Pixel Cleaning, Screen Move, Auto Logo Brightness, and more.

Game like never before with the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM

ROG OLED gaming monitors have been turning heads since we launched the first model in 2022. The new ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM takes the series to new heights with its premium 4th Gen QD-OLED panel, a next-gen port selection, and a full suite of ROG-exclusive features that help you get the most out of your monitor.
