Asus ROG Swift PG42UQ OLED è senza mezzi termini lo schermo perfetto per chi cerca un "coltellino svizzero" in termini di praticità, effetti e sistemi da collegare al PC, alle console di ultima generazione o, banalmente, ad un lettore Blu-Ray 4K. Il prezzo è in linea con il mercato, pur offrendo di fatto dei sistemi migliorati rispetto alla media. Una volta provato, difficilmente tornerete indietro.

Per l'uso classico da postazione PC si consiglia una scrivania piuttosto ampia, ed è bene tenere conto di come la definizione dei testi

E' un monitor meraviglioso, con tempi di risposta bassissimi e un pannello Oled aggiornatissimo. Essendo un monitor è adatto al pc, con le entrate che meglio si adattano a una configurazione mista pc-console

Il punto forte è la tecnologia oled. Il telecomando è molto utile per navigare nel pannello di controllo. Ottimo tempo di risposta. Il prezzo è alto ma corretto per l'esperienza che offre. In conclusione, il PG42UQ offre ad oggi un'esperienza di gioco perfetta e indimenticabile, imponendosi come il miglior monitor gaming attualmente disponibile sul mercato a cui un appassionato di titoli di avventura, di simulazione o sparatutto, budget e scrivania permettendo, non può davvero rinunciare.

Questo prodotto è pensato per tutti coloro che hanno una configurazione top di gamma, perché vi si inserisce senza problemi. Tra le qualità del ROG SWIFT PG42UQ vi sono la superiorità dei contrasti e dei colori e il prezzo elevato è giustificato proprio dall'elevata qualità. L'unico difetto è rappresentato dalle dimensioni forse un po' eccessive per essere un monitor.

Honestly, Asus has done a really good job with the ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ and we daresay that it is worth that extra bit of cash for it especially if you’re going to be using it with a PC. Having a DisplayPort is a huge benefit, and so are the other nifty things like a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Hub, the matte coating, the implementation of Uniform Brightness and the fast wake from sleep amongst many other things.

Se avete sufficiente spazio a disposizione sulla scrivania, la dimensione del pannello unita alla risoluzione 4K permettono di avere a disposizione una superficie davvero ampia su cui posizionare le proprie finestre.

What I like the most about the PG42UQ, though, is that despite its large display real estate, the gaming monitor’s thin frame and its panel don’t feel imposing or that it takes up more space than other monitors of similar size that I have reviewed in the past. For another matter, the fact that it is an OLED HDR panel that virtually makes all the colours come alive and look absolutely more vivid.
