Motherboards

The first ROG motherboards made hardcore overclocking more accessible, and we've stayed at the forefront of bringing advanced tuning to everyone. Our automated 5-Way Optimization software delivered expert-level tweaking with a single click. The latest AI Overclocking system sets speeds automatically based on silicon and cooling quality, and can train continuously to optimize performance over time.

Graphics Cards

The Matrix RTX 2080 Ti was the first graphics card to boast a fully integrated closed-loop liquid cooling system. Its highly efficient design fits a custom pump, tubing, block, and radiator beneath the shroud in the same amount of space as a standard air-cooled card, while pushing out more frames for fluid gameplay and faster performance.

Displays

Aggressively adopting the latest display technologies genuinely changed the game. As the world’s first with a 144Hz refresh rate monitor and a 120Hz gaming laptop, ROG set new standards for high-end gaming graphics. We continue to smash speed records today, taking refresh rates all the way to 300Hz for gaming laptops, and 360Hz on the world’s fastest gaming monitor.

The original ROG Zephyrus wrapped desktop-class performance and a high-refresh display in an impressively portable form factor that redefined expectations for ultra-slim gaming laptops. Its groundbreaking Active Aerodynamic System opened a hidden vent under the chassis, elevating airflow enough to fit powerful processors into a premium chassis less than 20mm thin.

Phones

Inspired by consoles, the game-changing ROG Phone introduced a landscape-focused design featuring programmable AirTriggers that enable precise control with a more comfortable grip. Its carefully binned and specially tuned processor stretched beyond stock speeds to deliver dominating performance, while its ultra-fast display offered an unbeatable blend of high speed and visual fidelity.

In 2006, an elite team of ASUS engineers and designers committed to creating the world’s best gaming experiences came together to start the Republic of Gamers (ROG). Since its founding, ROG has set new industry standards creating innovative, hardcore gaming gear that empowers gamers and enthusiasts everywhere.

Intuition

The story begins with the groundbreaking ROG Crosshair motherboard, which was the first to put advanced overclocking settings in a user-friendly BIOS. Intuitive tweaking and cooling options enabled experts and novices to easily maximize performance and optimize acoustics. ROG motherboards are still defined by this flexibility, and feature increasingly refined aesthetics with tasteful RGB accents.

Vision

Our pursuit of performance led to graphics cards with advanced tweaking and cooling upgrades. ROG started with air cooling, added support for custom loops with the hybrid Poseidon series, and eventually made liquid cooling self-contained. In 2009, we shocked the world by planting two GPUs on a single graphics card to create the Mars series, which set a new standard for graphics power in a single card.

Immersion

ROG enabled smoother gameplay by working closely with NVIDIA® to co-engineer G-SYNC™ technology that improves how GPUs and displays interact. We were the first to overclock panels up to 165Hz and beyond, and first to pair them with super-narrow bezels that enhance multi-monitor configs and overall immersion. Our diverse display portfolio also brought high refresh rates to 4K and ultra-wide monitors.

Portability

Laptops first took ROG DNA on the road in 2008 with the G70, a powerhouse desktop replacement featuring dual GPUs and two displays. The ROG Mothership redefined that form factor with an innovative detachable design. Our latest innovation elevates gaming laptops with a rising secondary screen, and it's part of growing Zephyrus family that eliminates compromises for smaller and slimmer devices.

Power

ROG got into complete desktops with the massive TYTAN, which opened extra cooling vents and increased CPU clocks at the touch of a button. Since then, our lineup has grown to include an array of machines with complete system cooling optimized for different sizes, like the small form factor ROG Huracan G21, whose magnetic side cover folds away to enhance airflow and achieve higher performance.

Precision

Adding peripherals allowed us to complete a full battlestation with the precise input and control hardcore gamers expect. We bring ROG enhancements in every category, from swappable switches that customize the feel of gaming mice, to tweaked layouts that tailor mechanical keyboards for intuitive accuracy, and advanced AI noise cancelling technology that improves vocal clarity for gaming headsets.

Ecosystem

ROG’s commitment to perfecting the gaming experience extends to a complete ecosystem of peripherals, components, and devices that communicate with and enhance each other. Examples include Aura Sync, which coordinates RGB lighting across an entire environment, and the ROG Rapture router, which accelerates gaming packets and can combine with other ROG routers to form a whole-home mesh network.
