The new ROG Dev Accelerator program gives your indie game dev studio the boost it needs
If you’re a talented indie game developer who needs some gear to get operations underway, ROG has you covered. Our new ROG Dev Accelerator program provides a select number of promising indie devs with the hardware they need for development. We’ve already helped incredible teams such as 11bit Studios, Kaizen Gameworks, New Blood Interactive, and Cozy Game Pals, and we’re excited to help your project next.
What ROG can do for you
To see what our program can do for your studio, take a look at Denkiworks, the Kyoto-based studio behind the upcoming Tanuki: Pon’s Summer. The game, starring a tanuki who works part-time at a post office while saving up to repair the Tanuki Festival shrine, will be a day-one Game Pass release in late 2025. It’s a shining example of how ROG is helping developers bring their ideas to gamers everywhere.
The game lets you control Pon the tanuki, handling high-octane package delivery and interacting with townsfolk in a race against the clock to secure funds for Tanuki Festival preparations. You’ll have until summer’s end to earn enough cash, giving this cozy-and-cute town sim a compelling throughline. You can check out Tanuki: Pon’s Summer on Microsoft’s Game Pass in late 2025 or wishlist it on Steam.
Made up of former Chuhai Labs developers responsible for Cursed to Golf, Denkiworks needed power to turn their dream game into a reality. So we gave them an ROG G700 desktop with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 as well as our latest 4K stunner, the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM. With these tools, they had the horsepower and display fidelity to craft Tanuki: Pon’s Summer exactly as they envisioned it. The powerful desktop and high-end monitor also future-proof the studio, ensuring Denkiworks has hardware capable of serving development needs for years to come.
