ROG Nebula HDR displays break new limits on the Strix SCAR 16 and 18
We first brought our stunning Nebula HDR display to the Strix lineup in 2023 with the Strix SCAR 16. This year, though, we’re proud to announce that not only have these Mini LED panels received some key upgrades, but they’re also available for the first time in an 18-inch size. With over 1100 nits of peak brightness and over 2000 dimming zones (almost double last year’s zone count), these panels boast specifications that match or surpass even some of the best HDR desktop monitors. When paired with our Nebula HDR Engine, which uses advanced processing to minimize blooming and haloing, these displays offer incredibly vivid HDR experiences even in challenging scenes that mix deep shadows and brilliant white highlights together.
All of the displays available on the 2024 Strix family, HDR and otherwise, also offer a QHD resolution with an ultra-smooth 240Hz refresh rate with less than a 3ms gray-to-gray response time, giving you exceptional motion clarity. For further immersion, these panels have an extra tall 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.
