SINGAPORE, August 1, 2024 — ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the Swift OLED PG32UCDP, a 32-inch 4K WOLED gaming monitor featuring a dual mode that enables users to switch from 4K @ 240 Hz visuals to FHD @ 480 Hz. The PG32UCDP also features the new ROG AI Assistant with in-game assists designed to help gamers practice their aim and improve overall gaming experiences. Third-generation ROG OLED and Micro Lens Array Plus (MLA+) technologies enable the PG32UCDP to showcase 15% brighter images compared to other monitors in its class. Additionally, the PG32UCDP includes user-friendly features such as OLED Anti-flicker and Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technologies, Auto KVM, and USB-C® with 90 W Power Delivery[i].
Primed for gaming
A dual-mode feature enables PG32UCDP to showcase and switch between 4K @ 240 Hz or FHD @ 480 Hz visuals on the fly via a hotkey, allowing users to experience silky-smooth responsiveness when superfast FPS games, or revel and immerse themselves in the latest AAA titles with gaming worlds full of stunning detail.
The PG32UCDP also features AI Assistant, a suite of intelligent features designed to enhance gaming experiences with AI Visual[ii], AI Crosshair, AI Sniper, AI Shadow Boost, and the MOBA Map Helper.
AI Visual automatically detects what’s onscreen and adjusts to provide the best default or user-preset monitor settings. AI Crosshair switches the crosshair to a color that contrasts with the background so it stands out for easier aiming. AI Sniper zooms in on the center of the in-game target for better aim during practice sessions. AI Shadow Boost enhances dark areas of the scene to make it easier to spot enemies hiding in dim areas of the map. Meanwhile, the MOBA Map Helper provides MOBA gamers with notification reminders to keep a lookout whenever a group battle is detected.
The OLED advantage
The latest ROG OLED technology ensures that gamers are treated to the darkest black hues, outstanding contrast, and ultrafast 0.03 ms response times for blur-free visuals. Third-generation OLED technology in the PG32UCDP features Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) for improved motion clarity, while the Clear Pixel Edge algorithm makes text easier to read. Additionally, ROG-exclusive OLED Anti-flicker technology helps reduce flicker during frame-rate fluctuations for smoother gameplay, and the optional uniform brightness feature keeps luminance levels consistent for more comfortable viewing.
The PG32UCDP features a custom heatsink design with integrated airflow channels to ensure optimal thermal management and mitigate the risk of burn-in. Complementing the passive cooling design, ASUS OLED Care offers additional features to protect the OLED panel, including Pixel Cleaning, Pixel Move, Screen Saver, and more. What’s more, the OLED panel of PG32UCDP is covered by a three-year warranty.
Unmatched convenience and versatility
The PG32UCDP is able to display imagery of varying aspect ratios, allowing gamers to choose between 24.5-inch (esports mode) to 27-inch imagery. The ASUS DisplayWidget Center has an intuitive interface that allows users to access OLED Care functions and adjust monitors settings with a mouse. There’s also a hotkey to activate the Auto KVM function which automatically detects a second input source, allowing users to switch and control both input devices through a single keyboard and mouse.
For compatibility with a wide range of multimedia devices, the PG32UCDP features extensive connectivity including DisplayPort™ 1.4 with DSC, HDMI® 2.1, USB-C® with 90 W Power Delivery[iii], a headphone jack. and a tripod socket at the top of the monitor.
