Please note that if the product is serviced by anyone other than ASUS, ASUS Service Centers or ASUS Authorized Service Providers, it may void the warranty or involve the disassembly of components, including the battery pack, power supply and others.
This service policy is for EPEAT registered products. EPEAT registration varies by country. See www.epeat.net for registration status by country.

Service Support for Warranty Extension and Components Replacement

ASUS provides the following optional warranty extension services to complement eligible ASUS EPEAT product(s):

• ASUS offers customers of all EPEAT products, product repair and replacement services for the minimum 3 years from the date of sale.
• The hardware features that are upgradeable or replaceable without soldering or de-soldering and using only commonly available tools are listed in the table below. These meet the optional criteria 4.4.2.5 of EPEAT, but the actual situation depends on the design of the product.
• The spare parts listed below are available for EPEAT products. If you have any questions about spare parts or repair issues, please contact an authorized repair center.

Battery Warranty Statement

1. ASUS battery warranty applies to the following terms and conditions:
   •  If the battery is within warranty and causes the Notebook to suddenly switch ON/ OFF, shut down or prevents the system from turning on, ASUS will replace the defective battery with a new one.
   • ASUS will replace a new battery under the following conditions: (a) The battery does not charge; (b) The notebook is not able to detect battery connection; (c) The system repeatedly prompts or warns the user to replace the battery; (d) the battery charge indicator blinks abnormally.
2. Exclusions from the Limited Warranty Service:
   • Normal drop in battery capacity over time due to usage.
   • The product has been tampered, repaired, and/or modified by non- authorized personnel.
   • Failure to provide proof of purchase or the warranty seal has been broken or altered. To avail of the limited warranty, please keep your proof of purchase and do not remove the warranty seal on the product.
   • Electronic components display rust or signs of oxidation due to exposure to moisture or internal leakage.
   • Misuse or negligence.
3. Out-Of-Warranty Battery Replacement:
   • We offer a service for customers to pay for the replacement of out-of-warranty batteries. The replacement can be completed at an ASUS authorized service location, including ASUS, ASUS Service Centers or ASUS Authorized Service Providers.

Packaging

The packaging, which is made of wood-based fiber (i.e., cardboard) contains a minimum of 80% recycled content (the percentage may be higher in some regions or product series). It is accepted for recycling around the world.
