At 34kg fully laden, Model 01 is an imposing monster of a mod, in both physical and emotive attributes. With – dare we say – a typically Nordic approach to minimalism that concentrates its focus on materials used in its large surfaces that are untouched but for the large ROG logo and baseline diagonal grills that draw focus.
It’s on this thought that I reflect on the story of its creation - the numerous revisions over several years requires a distinct dedication and discipline to say no - so the model is still '01'.
