ROG Demonstrates Latest Gaming Products at IFA 2016
It's IFA time again, and ROG is excited to show the good people in Berlin, Germany the latest gear and concepts. All products will be on display during IFA 2016 at Berliner Freiheit 2. The lounge will be open daily from the 1st to the 6th of September between 9am and 7pm, except for the weekend when the trade show is closed. There you will find the latest 3D-printed parts and Aura RGB lighting synchonization concepts, and the new generation of NVIDIA 'Pascal' gaming desktops and laptops.
ROG 3DMod, ROG Claymore and ROG Spatha
The stunning ROG 3DMod PC build showcases the possibilities of the latest ASUS Aura RGB lighting technology and creative 3D-printed accessories, which give gamers new and exciting customization options.
ROG 3DMod features a water-cooled design and nine programmable lighting effects that can be synchronized across its ROG Rampage V Edition 10 motherboard, ROG Strix GTX 1080 graphics card and attached RGB strips. A 3D-printed front panel — featuring the ROG 10th anniversary logo — ensures that these lighting effects can also be seen from the outside the case. In addition, there are 3D-printed fan shrouds protecting the water-cooling radiator and graphics cards without compromising airflow or performance, and a motherboard cover for neat cable management.
The innovative ROG gaming peripherals on show also feature 3D-printed components. The ROG Claymore mechanical gaming keyboard gets 3D-printed protective covers for the side panels, a dust cover for the numeric keypad, signature ROG keycaps and a ROG keycap puller.
For users looking for a more tailored grip, the ROG Spatha wired/wireless gaming mouse on display comes with a 3D-printed right-side-panel. This new modular panel has a narrow design that is suited for gamers with a fingertip-style grip. The original panel, designed for a wider grip, offers a ring-finger rest.
ROG XG Station 2
The launch of the original ROG XG Station in 2007 allowed you to use your desktop gaming graphics on your gaming laptop. This time, ROG XG Station 2 is an external graphics-card dock that turns your Thunderbolt 3-enabled laptop into a VR-gaming powerhouse. An internal 600W 80PLUS Gold power supply supports the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX and AMD Radeon graphics cards. The Aura RGB lighting can be synchronized with compatible ROG Strix graphics cards. ROG XG Station 2 is easy to connect and can be unplugged without restarting the laptop, and it includes four USB 3.0 ports and a gigabit LAN socket which comes in handy for ultra-portable laptops.
ROG Swift PG258Q
The impressive ROG Swift PG258Q is a 24.5-inch Full-HD gaming monitor that features native 240Hz refresh rate. ROG Swift PG258Q has a 1ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time and G-SYNC technology to eliminate lag and frame-rate stutter. The super-narrow bezel design makes it perfect for multi-display setups. As the mighty Swift PG348Q's little brother, this also inherited ROG’s new Armor Titanium and Plasma Copper color scheme, and built-in ROG lighting effects on its stand.
ROG GT51
ROG GT51 is a fully souped-up gaming rig out of the box, powered by a 6th-generation Intel Core i7-6700K processor and the latest NVIDIA GTX 1080 in 2-Way SLI for 4K gaming. It features one-click overclocking for both the CPU (full-core to 4.6GHz) and GPU without having to reboot. An audiophile-grade ESS Sabre headphone DAC and amplifier are inconspicuously built-in, and dynamic eight-million-color LED effects are available across four zones on its chassis.
ROG G20
ROG G20 is a powerful 9.5-liter compact gaming PC with a 6th-generation Intel Core i7 processor and up to the latest NVIDIA GTX 1080. It has an M.2 PCIe Gen 3 x4 SSD and USB 3.1. Plus the exclusive ASUS Aegis II utility with GameAlive allowing you to record, edit and share gameplay videos on social media. Dynamic eight-million-color LED effects can also be synced with the game effects or music currently being played.
ROG G701VI
ROG G701VI is geared for VR-Ready gaming and incredible energy efficiency. The overclockable Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GTX 1080 readies you for pretty much anything. At only 1.3 inches thick (or shall we say 'thin'), ROG G701VI is the world’s thinnest gaming laptop to feature an NVIDIA GTX 1080, and also the world’s first laptop with a super-fast 120Hz panel with support for G-SYNC.
ROG Strix GL702VM
ROG Strix GL702VM is the perfect balance of gaming power and reliability. It features GTX 1060 graphics (note that there's no mobile version now), a wide-viewing-angle 17-inch display and NVIDIA G-SYNC. The HyperCool triple-copper thermal module features a three-fan design for that extra cooling performance during marathon gaming sessions. In addition, an anti-ghosting gaming keyboard is here with 30-key rollover for precise multi-keystroke commands.

The ASUS G11 gaming PC is powered by a 6th-generation Intel Core processor and features up to NVIDIA GTX 1080 graphics and DDR4 memory. It has an M.2 PCIe Gen 3 x4 SSD and USB 3.1. It also features dynamic eight-million-color LED effects and a side panel with a 3D-illusion effect.
