IFA 2015: ROG GX700 and G752 Gaming Laptops Announced
At IFA 2015 in Berlin, Germany, ROG announced products and innovations which captivated the crowd and brought portable gaming to a whole new level. Take a look at what ROG has in store for extreme gamers on the go.
ROG GX700 Water-Cooled 4K Gaming Laptop
One of the most exciting announcements in recent years is the introduction of water-cooling in a laptop. ROG is the world's first to have a laptop benefit from water-cooling, with this amount of cooling higher performance hardware (which of course generates more heat) can be implemented, hardware can be pushed much harder and the system can be overclocked much easier. Even the Intel 6th Gen. processor can be overclocked while connected to the new water-cooling dock. ROG GX700 incorporates the latest Nvidia graphics to power games in 4K on the gorgeous 17-inch 4K IPS display - which is also a world's first.
On the exterior the new ROG theme was shown off at IFA 2015, the Armor Titanium and Plasma Copper color scheme makes the GX700 irresistible inside and out.

ROG G752 Gaming Laptop
Like the ROG GX700, both laptops feature backlit anti-ghosting 30-key rollover to make sure key-presses are registered in the heat of the battle, and also a new dust-release thermal solution to effectively increase system stability and durability. At the core, there is the new Intel 6th Gen. processor paired with up to an Nvidia GTX 980M with 8GB of GDDR5 VRAM for heavy-duty gaming requirements. The successor to the G751 also adds Thunderbolt 3 technology for speeds up to 20Gb/s and a new chassis with the new ROG theme. For storage, there is the option of adding an M.2 PCIe X4 SSD with NVMe support for extreme speeds when booting-up, loading a game or transferring files. ROG G752 will come in three tasty flavors - G752VL, G752VT and G752VY.
