ASUS Dual GTX 1060 3GB
The new 'Dual' is ASUS' latest design for its GTX 1060 3GB (DUAL-GTX1060-3G). Featuring a dual fan design as opposed to the tri-fan on the Strix series, it still includes the same Wing-Blade fans for suped-up static pressure that pushes more heat from the densely packed aluminum fins underneath. The Dual card is a shorter, more compact 9.5-inch PCB that retains essential ASUS advancements like Super Alloy Power II hardware on the matt black PCB and Auto Extreme construction.
As you can see below, for those looking to color match the white shroud perfectly matches ASUS motherboards such as the X99 Deluxe, X99-A II, Sabertooth Z170 S, Z170-Premium, -Deluxe, -Pro or -A. Its nickel plated heatpipes are entirely enclosed under the shroud in this new design.
Meanwhile, at the back, VR-friendly HDMI ports are part of a comprensive connectivity set that includes five display outputs: two HDMI 2.0, two DP and a DVI-D output.
The ASUS Dual GTX 1060 3GB is a low power card requiring just a single 6-pin PCI-Express connector. There's also an OC version that boosts the GPU clock to 1,809MHz in OC mode, which is one-click accessible via bundled GPU Tweak II software.
Inside, the new GPU packs 1,152 cores built using the new Nvidia 'Pascal' architecture on the latest 16nm FinFET, which are combined with 3GB of 8GHz GDDR5 memory. The Dual GTX 1060 3GB provides an awesome price : performance card for gamers with Full HD displays that can be G-SYNC infused like the ROG PG series.
In the package the ASUS Dual GTX 1060 3GB is also bundled with XSplit Gamecaster that'll let you stream your gameplay online at the click of a button. The latest version includes in-game annotations and a video editor too.
