Overview: Strix Tactic Pro Keyboard
ASUS just released the Strix Tactic Pro keyboard aiming to provide hardcore gamers with a rock-solid keyboard that performs, is ergonomic for long gaming sessions, abundant in features, and possesses looks that could kill. These key features include a full set of mechanical Cherry MX switches to maximize response and tactility. The highest specification N-Key Rollover (NKRO) over USB eliminates 'ghosting' to ensure every keystroke is registered and 21 easy-to-reach macro keys located in close proximity of the WASD keys, for instant access with an on-the-fly macro recording key. Also software and plug-and-play hardware modes to make sure there is supreme command of PCs and games no matter which computer the Tactic Pro is plugged into.
Enjoy, Don't Endure
Choice of MX Switches
Choose from MX Black, MX Red, MX Brown or MX Blue to customize the feel of the keys according to your needs and preference. Built to last; the keys have a lifecycle of 50 million keystrokes, which is ten times that of conventional keyboards.
N-Key Rollover (NKRO) over USB
With N-Key Rollover, the Strix Tactic Pro has the ability to process 100 keys simultaneously (nearly every single key on the keyboard) utilizing anti-ghosting. And there's the option to turn it off for certain competitions which deem the feature an unfair advantage. There is an LED NKRO indicator strategically placed at the top of the keyboard nearest to the monitor for quick reference.
21 Easy-To-Reach Macro Keys
There are 10 easy-to-reach keys on the left-hand side of the keyboard which allows for complicated combinations with the option to have predetermined delays in between or prior to keystrokes. 3 twitch-action keys are under the spacebar for instant access with the thumb. F1 to F8 can be configured as macro keys simply by enabling Macro Mode using FN+F11, to give a total of 21 macro keys. Everything is covered as FN+F12 will put the keyboard in gaming mode to disable the Windows button to avoid potentially-disastrous accidental presses. The on-the-fly macro recording key can be quickly accessed next to the spacebar. There are also LED indicators for Macro Mode, Game Mode and Macro Recording at the top of the keyboard visibly unhindered by the user's hands.
Software and Plug-and-Play Hardware Modes
The intuitive Strix software is included for advanced personalization. In software mode, the user can create as many profiles as desired and link them to specific programs, so when the program opens the linked profile will be activated automatically, especially useful in programs abundant with shortcuts like Photoshop. In hardware mode, the user can save up to 3 profiles in the 4MB onboard memory, then plug the keyboard into any other computer and still be able to use the profiles saved previously, allowing familiarity and productivity wherever the keyboard goes without the need for a driver.
Bundled in the Box
The Strix Tactic Pro keyboard, 4 additional WASD key caps, a key cap-removing tool and an installation disc are bundled in a brand new box of the Strix Tactic Pro.
