GSC Closes: What Happens To STALKER 2 Development?
According to leading PC Gaming website, RockPaperShotgun, after some investigation it seems Ukrainian developer GSC Game Studio - maker of The Cossacks, STALKER, The Conquest of America, Heroes of Annihilated Empires - is closing it doors.
Personally I've been a huge fan of the STALKER series since the first game, and ASUS even bundled the original STALKER in its GeForce 8800 Series graphics cards. It's a huge blow to the PC gaming community after the success and development of the intricate and incredible STALKER universe. I hope the talented developers find new jobs (and are free to take the IP with them)!
