Star Citizen reaches US $33 million, unlocks two new ships
In a "Letter from the Chairman", Roberts Space Industries have detailed the new ships as well as expressed their gratefulness to the fans for making the project possible. Chris Roberts also noted that next five stretch goals will be aimed to add an additional system to the game and as always, "Star Citizens" (or pledgers) will be the ones that will pick it.
The next goal, set at US $34 million, will bring the new MISC Hull C cargo ship.
Chris Roberts also used this opportunity to clarify once again that each stretch goal is not only about ships and systems and that money actually goes to additional artists, tools, programmers and new technologies that will make the finished project even better.
