The Best Of ROG In 2012

It's been a busy year here at ROG online as we posted over 450 articles for you to keep up on the latest ROG news, overclocking guides, eSports action, top PC mods and of course - competitions to win kit! If you missed some, we've taken the liberty to round-up the best of 2012!

eSports

We sent two people to the Blizzard World Championship finals in Shanghai. Overclocking

ROG was the very first to experiment using Liquid Helium on an Intel system, chilling the Maximus V Extreme to below 230C. If you want to see that in action, be sure to watch the video or our picture gallery. During the Absolute Zero event the overclockers scored several world records. Meanwhile, the ROG overclockers smashed boundaries, such as 8.167GHz then the 8.67GHz CPU frequency world records using the new AMD FX-8350 CPU and Crosshair V Formula-Z motherboard, while Intel overclockers produced a 7184.3MHz on the i7-3770K, a 32M SuperPi record at 7GHz and memory frequency records on Maximus V systems during the year.

PC Mods
