ROG Falcata is a 75% split gaming keyboard designed for precision and flexibility. It features the hot-swappable ROG HFX V2 Magnetic Switch and ROG Hall Sensor for ultra-responsive keystrokes. It includes a Rapid Trigger toggle, intuitive multi-function wheel and button, ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless technology, and tri-mode connectivity. A unique Zone Mode optimizes hardware settings and primes the Falcata for top-tier performance in an instant. For user comfort, the Falcata includes four-layer dampening and detachable silicone wrist rests.

Compact 75% Split Design

The 75% layout of the Falcata includes the essential arrow, function, and navigation keys while keeping overall dimensions compact. The unique split design allows users to detach the side of the right keyboard, retaining the left half when gaming. Compared to a 65% keyboard, the split design frees up even more space for mouse movement.

A bundled link cable is required to ensure stable connection and optimal performance. Using third-party cables may result in the keyboard not responding.

This latest pre-lubed magnetic switch delivers solid, ultra-precise feel with lightning-fast responsiveness along with a 100-million-keystroke lifespan. The polycarbonate top housing and POM plastic stem and bottom housing ensure ultrasmooth keystrokes, while the walled-stem design enhances stability and keeps out dust and debris. This results in consistently smooth, reliable, and precise keypresses when gaming or typing.

  • Customizable Actuation Point

    With the ROG Hall Sensor and HFX V2 Magnetic Switch, the 0.1–3.5 mm actuation range of the Falcata can be adjusted in precise 0.01 mm increments. The actuation point can be tweaked via the multi-function wheel or web-based Gear Link interface.

  • ROG Hall Effect Technology

    Leveraging the increased magnetic flux tolerance of the HFX V2 Magnetic Switch, the IC is now directly mounted on the PCB, allowing it to be positioned closer to the magnet without being affected by board thickness. This further enhances magnetic sensing accuracy without affecting saturation.

  • Rapid Trigger

    A dedicated toggle switch on the top-left rear panel of the Falcata activates the Rapid Trigger feature for the fastest typing response and key repeat rate. By default, only WASD keys are enabled when this feature is activated. Rapid Trigger for other keys can be enabled via Gear Link.

    Traditional mechanical switches require a return to the reset point before the next click registers. With ROG HFX V2 Magnetic Switch and the Rapid Trigger feature, the switch resets instantly as it moves upward, delivering maximum counter-strafing potential with minimal effort.

Speed Tap Mode

In Speed Tap mode, as soon as the system detects the input of two keys (e.g., A + D) it will prioritize the last input and automatically release the previous one. This means that in FPS games, pressing two opposing directional keys will no longer cause the character to stop moving; instead, directional changes can now be done immediately without releasing the previous key, eliminating any time gap for counter-strafing and ensuring precise aim every time.

*Speed Tap feature is turned off by default. Simultaneously press Fn + Caps keys for 1 second to activate.

Intuitive Controls

The innovative multi-function button and wheel allow for easy adjustments to various settings, including Rapid Trigger sensitivity, keyboard actuation point, volume, media playback, lighting, and custom commands. Additionally, the LED sidebar showcases dynamic light effects that reflect these adjustments in real-time.

Superb Connectivity

Tri-mode connectivity allows the Falcata to connect to five devices simultaneously via ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless technology, Bluetooth®, or wired USB. Experience ultra-responsive performance with up to an 8000Hz polling rate in SpeedNova wireless or wired modes, resulting in input refresh rates that are up to 8X faster than most gaming keyboards and reducing delay from 1ms to 0.125ms for precise, real-time actions. Plus, SpeedNova wireless mode enables up to 200 hours of battery life*.

Zone Mode

Zone Mode instantly activates the ultimate battle-ready keyboard setup. This mode unlocks peak competitive performance while disabling features like RGB lighting. Once enabled, gaming-critical keys are automatically set to an 8000 Hz polling rate by default, while lesser-used keys are reduced to 250Hz. The polling rate for each key can be further customized to user preferences.

so asus just made a hall effect split keyboard and it might just be the best gaming keyboard you cant buy. yet....

Tenting is when you angle the keyboard slightly outwards to make it more ergonomic to type on. I think this is brilliant. During my time with a lot of keyboards, specifically when I'm typing scripts, I do realize it is a little bit more comfortable to type on an angle than if it was just flat. So I do appreciate this feature.

On top of that, because this is a split keyboard, you can get rid of the right hand side and just use the left hand side exclusively when gaming, meaning better ergonomics for gaming and more space for you to move your mouse, which is always a good thing.
