ROG XG Station 2 product showcase
ASUS was the pioneer of the external graphics card docking station in 2007 in the form of the XG Station. It also happened to be the World's First Multimedia Docking Station. The purpose of an external GPU docking station is to increase performance and turn a regular laptop into a gaming powerhouse. The XG Station was a futuristic concept at the time. Fast forward 10 years, we have the XG Station 2, which looks straight out of a Transformers sequel. With a narrow plasma tube at the front of the graphics amp, this creates waves of electricity, giving it a futuristic look and our much loved Aura lighting. The dock also includes four USB 3.0 ports and a gigabit LAN socket for extended gear connectivity - perfect for those with numerous gaming peripherals such as gaming mice, keyboards and headsets.
