Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics cards bring RDNA 2 to the mainstream with ROG Strix and ASUS Dual
AMD's RDNA 2 graphics architecture has proven itself across high-end Radeon RX 6900 XT, RX 6800 XT, RX 6800, and RX 6700 XT GPUs for gamers pursuing the best performance with high-resolution and high-refresh-rate monitors. Now it's time for Full HD gamers to level up. The Radeon RX 6600 XT unleashes all the next-generation features of RDNA 2 for exceedingly swift performance in today's most competitive titles and smooth experiences in the highest-fidelity AAA titles. ASUS is ready to help mainstream gamers enjoy everything the Radeon RX 6600 XT has to offer with ROG Strix and ASUS Dual versions of this exciting new GPU.
The ROG Strix Radeon RX 6600 XT offers potent power and bold style
The ROG Strix Radeon RX 6600 XT melds the power of RDNA 2 with plenty of our own innovative ROG DNA. Our tuning starts with the heatsink. Four heatpipes run over a large base plate that draws heat away from the two most temperature-sensitive components of the graphics card: the GPU chip itself and the GDDR6 memory that rings it. Those pipes run through a high-surface-area heatsink that helps rapidly transfer away heat to allow for low temperatures and the highest possible clock speeds.
A pair of fans featuring our latest Axial-tech design move lots of air through the heatsink without raising noise levels. We achieve this challenging balance with more fan blades, smaller fan hubs, a highly swept blade design, and notched barrier rings that all optimize the path of airflow through the heatsink to quietly put lots of cooling airflow right where it's needed.
Enthusiasts can further optimize performance with two different fan and power profiles using the onboard dual-BIOS switch. Choose Performance mode for more airflow, the highest stock clock speeds, and the best overclocking potential, or switch over to Quiet mode for a less aggressive fan curve that maintains high performance. A 0dB mode in both profiles allows the fans to stop entirely at idle to keep your system's noise levels as low as possible when you're not in a game.
Like all ROG gear, the ROG Strix Radeon RX 6600 XT is built to look as good as it performs. Bold, angular accents embossed with ROG cybertext ripple across the cooling shroud, and a full-length alloy backplate boasts even more ROG graphics so that your allegiance is clear from every angle. An Aura RGB accent on the left edge of the card lets the addressable RGB LEDs beneath shine through. Aura Sync support lets you easily coordinate your favorite colors and lighting effects with all of the other compatible gear in your system.
The ASUS Dual Radeon RX 6600 XT delivers pure performance
For builders who prefer high performance in a subtle package, the ASUS Dual Radeon RX 6600 XT stands ready to perform.
Like its ROG Strix stablemate, this card uses twin fans built with our latest Axial-tech design to drive cooling air through a high-surface-area heatsink. These fans use dual ball bearings for a long life span, and they can stop entirely when the graphics card is idle for silent running.
The ASUS Dual Radeon RX 6600 XT's refined shroud design draws the eye with black and silver accents set off with contrasting textures and geometric cuts. The full-length alloy backplate both reinforces the PCB beneath and adds visual interest to your build with clean ASUS graphics. Auto-Extreme assembly technology, used across our graphics card lineup, ensures that each component beneath the shroud and backplate is precisely placed and cleanly soldered for a long life of reliable operation.
