Announced at CES 2015 earlier in Jan, the EA-AC87 is now be available to buy, allowing you to bridge a wired GigE connection to WiFi at AC1800 wireless speeds from its four antenna (4x4 MIMO). It's perfect for small form factor systems that can't squeeze in a WiFi PCIE card, and it's the next step up in performance and range over USB options, and the CAT5 cable can be extended further to allow placement almost anywhere. It's dual mode includes media bridge (for PCs or notebooks) and AP mode for upgrading existing routers.
