Step into a new realm with ROG and Oculus, are you game?

Whether you’re a VR aficionado, a livestreamer, or a pro gamer in the eSports arena, Republic of Gamers has something to offer.

Is VR a gimmick? First of all, if you're sold on it - it doesn't matter what people call it. Second of all, if you tried it, the only word(s) to sum up the experience would probably be - MIND...BLOWN... 

PC or console? In the not too distant future, just maybe, everyone can play along nicely. Perhaps once and for all, we find out whether console or PC gamers reign supreme.

The maturity of VR is just as inevitable as how we have worldwide access to the internet. The possibilities for each are endless once they are widely adopted. It all begins with an Oculus-Ready PC such as the ROG G20 or an ASUS G11! Check out the ASUS ROG VR setup at CES 2016!

Not going to say get ready, because you probably can't wait. ASUS just announced at the Oculus Connect 2 Developer Conference in Los Angeles the partnership with Oculus to bring you virtual reality gaming. We can't wait! How about you?

So I went to bed, woke up, and Facebook bought Oculus. If that doesn't slap you in the face to make you wide-eyed, nothing will. And while Oculus has nothing directly to do with ROG, making this editorial seem a bit strange here; ROG is a gaming brand that listens very closely to the gaming community and ASUS as a whole is a company that prides itself on diversity of products: AMD, Intel, Nvidia, Qualcomm etc: if it's a good platform - the right platform - we're behind it! I've been reading the reactions - both high and low profile - and discussing the potential of it online. The bottom line: don't freak out! Here's why..
