Supercharge your game with GeForce RTX SUPER graphics cards from ROG and ASUS
Just under a year ago, NVIDIA began to reshape what was possible from real-time graphics with a flurry of chips powered by its Turing architecture. The GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, GeForce RTX 2080, GeForce RTX 2070, and GeForce RTX 2060 have all delivered winning performance in the exclusively rasterized games of the past and present, and they’ve laid the groundwork for exciting new rendering techniques in the cutting-edge games of today and tomorrow.
Turing introduced an innovative parallel pipeline for simultaneous integer and floating-point calculations in each of its shader multiprocessors (SMs). RT Cores fused ray tracing with rasterization for the first time ever in real-time graphics, allowing game developers to bring more realistic lighting, shadows, and reflections into their titles than ever before through a groundbreaking hybrid rendering approach. Tensor Cores have unlocked the power of deep learning for gaming, enabling technologies like the performance-boosting, fidelity-preserving Deep Learning Super Sampling.
No matter how you slice it, Turing GPUs are bursting with cutting-edge tech and industry-leading performance per watt. Even the best and brightest can benefit from continuous improvement, though, and NVIDIA is using the experience it’s gained from a year of Turing to burnish three of its GeForce RTX GPUs. The GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER, GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER, and GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER all promise even higher performance through a variety of refinements, and we’ve incorporated the extra goodness available from each of those new GPUs into a wide range of graphics cards to suit gamers of all stripes.
The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER powers up a primo pixel-pusher
GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER cards bring even more muscle to bear on rasterized and hybrid-rendered games alike, raising the high bar their elite predecessors already set. The RTX 2080 SUPER offers 3072 Turing CUDA cores, up from 2944 on the original RTX 2080. To keep this beast of a chip fed, NVIDIA pushes the transfer rate of the RTX 2080 SUPER’s 8GB of GDDR6 memory to 15.5GT/s, up from 14GT/s on the original RTX 2080. Our graphics card engineers have harnessed the RTX 2080 SUPER’s power in two beefy families of cards.
The ROG Strix RTX 2080 SUPER
ROG Strix RTX 2080 SUPER cards keep the same superb cooler and PCB design that debuted on our first top-of-the-line RTX 2080s. Three Axial-tech fans use smaller-than-average hubs and special restrictor rings at their edges to move more air at higher pressures than traditional fans do. That directed airflow passes over a massive 2.7-slot-tall heatsink that crams fins into nearly every available cubic centimeter under a muscular shroud. A dual BIOS switch lets you choose between two fan profiles: one tuned for silence at idle, the other for maximum performance under the heaviest loads.
For even more cooling power, the RTX 2080 SUPER can take control of up to two system fans using a pair of our FanConnect II headers. FanConnect II borrows smarts from our motherboards to automatically detect four-pin PWM or three-pin DC fans and yoke them to the graphics card's own fan control logic. And if your focus is as much on looking cool as it is on keeping your graphics card chilly, RGB LED accents visible from nearly every angle will spice up any build. ASUS Aura Sync compatibility ensures that the lighting on the ROG Strix RTX 2080 SUPER integrates beautifully with a broad swath of Aura Sync-ready components from a wide range of manufacturers.
Our Auto-Extreme assembly tech ensures that every ROG Strix RTX 2080 SUPER comes off the assembly line with nary a blob of solder or a single surface-mount device out of place. An integrated stiffening exoskeleton distributes the weight of the Strix’s massive PCB and cooler across the card and its mounting bracket to prevent GPU sag. And on the Strix—as well as all of our GeForce RTX SUPER graphics cards—you'll find four display outputs that can be used all at once, even in tandem with a next-gen USB Type-C port on select cards for compatible displays and VR headsets
The Asus Dual EVO RTX 2080 Super delivers stealthy subtlety
ROG Strix GeForce SUPER cards make a statement in any build, but not everybody wants to be an extrovert. For those who prefer flying under the radar, our new Dual EVO family stands ready with clean lines outside and high performance on the inside.
The ASUS Dual EVO RTX 2080 SUPER
Dual EVO RTX 2080 SUPER cards use two Axial-tech fans to keep air moving through a fin stack that’s just a bit less dense than those on ROG Strix cards. Even so, the 2.7-slot-tall cooler on Dual EVO RTX 2080 SUPERs offers more than enough surface area for that duo of fans to move waste heat away with minimal noise.
A small RGB LED light bar on the side of the Dual EVO shroud balances modern style with restraint, and a classy aluminum backplate serves as the bow tie on the Dual EVO’s clean exterior. Zero-dB fan control at idle ensures that this card is as easy on the ears as it is on the eyes. Auto-Extreme assembly and a rigorous 144-hour stress test during production ensure that every Dual EVO card is ready to weather whatever stresses a gamer can throw at it.

The GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER gives gamers more
The GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER follows a simple formula: more CUDA cores equal more performance. The RTX 2070 SUPER’s number-crunching resources increase to 2560 CUDA cores, compared to 2304 from the original RTX 2070. 8GB of GDDR6 memory running at 14GT/s offers plenty of room for the GPU to keep game data close at hand.
The ROG Strix RTX 2070 SUPER
The Republic of Gamers girdles the ROG Strix RTX 2070 SUPER with the same versatile, high-performance heatsink that sits atop the RTX 2080 SUPER. The same massive fin stack and trio of Axial-tech fans that appear on the RTX 2080 SUPER make an encore here, and gamers can switch between fan profiles for performance and politeness with the flick of a switch. Diffuse RGB LED accents, an ROG logo-emblazoned backplate, and onboard fan headers that tie case fan speeds to GPU temperatures are all present and accounted for.
The ASUS RTX 2070 SUPER Dual EVO
The RTX 2070 SUPER Dual EVO sports the same new twin-fan cooler we’re introducing on its RTX 2080 counterpart. Dual Axial-tech fans, a zero-dBA idle mode, and a massive 2.7-slot-tall heatsink leave plenty of thermal headroom in the tank for overclockers while keeping this card quiet out of the box. Subtle RGB LED accents, intensive quality-control tests, and a full-length aluminum backplate make this card a worthy choice for folks who put performance and durability first.
The ASUS Turbo RTX 2070 SUPER EVO
Not every case has the air-moving power needed to deal with the waste heat from an open graphics card cooler, and that’s where the Turbo GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER EVO comes in. Instead of using fans that blow down over an open fin stack, our Turbo cards use a centrifugal blower fan to draw in case air and blow that cooling breeze over a fully enclosed heat sink. Hot air only has one place to go after the Turbo EVO cooler is done with it, and that’s straight out the back of a case. Builders of small-form-factor systems will be especially pleased with the Turbo EVO’s polite thermal manners.
Centrifugal blowers have a reputation as noisemakers, but the dual-ball-bearing fan of our Turbo cards is a generous 80 mm across. That expansive diameter lets the fan spin slower than those of competing designs, a choice that reduces noise and maintains cooling performance. Compared to sleeve-bearing fans, the dual ball bearing in our blower is built to last longer, too.

GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER cards put ray tracing within reach
The GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER might be the biggest beneficiary of the green team’s Turing refinements today. For one, the RTX 2060 SUPER gains four Turing SMs’ worth of shader-processing, ray-tracing, and tensor-crunching power. The SUPER card has 2176 CUDA cores, compared to 1920 on the standard-trim RTX 2060. A 13% bump in shader power is nothing to sneeze at on any GPU, but it’s especially exciting in the cutthroat midrange graphics market.
For two, NVIDIA saw fit to bump the RTX 2060 SUPER from 6GB of VRAM in its standard form to 8GB of video memory. Even for 1920x1080 gaming, it seems like texture sizes are growing with every AAA release, and given that the RTX 2060 was itself a perfectly competent 2560x1440 contender before today, the extra space for game data on board the RTX 2060 SUPER is a welcome expansion. That GDDR6 RAM runs at 14GT/s out of the box.
The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER
Our first take on NVIDIA’s most attainable new card on the block is a pumped-up Strix—the ROG Strix RTX 2060 SUPER, that is. We already gave the RTX 2060 wings with a powerful cooler borrowed from our ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, and it makes a return on the RTX 2060 SUPER. Aura-ready RGB LED accents on all sides contrast with a neutral black-and-gray color palette, making this card a ready canvas for stealthy and standout builds alike.
A whopping six heat pipes snake through the massive fin stack of the Strix RTX 2060 SUPER, and they move heat away from a full-coverage contact plate finished with our MaxContact technology. The MaxContact process results in a much flatter heatsink base than traditional finishing provides, and a flatter contact plate means better thermal transfer from GPU to the heat pipes and fin stack that comprise the Strix RTX 2060 SUPER’s heat-banishing hardware.
The trio of Wing-blade fans that populate the Strix RTX 2060 cooler use a tried-and-true ASUS design. Drooped tips at the edge of each fan blade encourage higher static pressure to keep air moving through the dense fin stack of this card’s cooler, and dust-resistant fan hubs ensure a long operating life. As with our other Strix Turing cards, a zero-dB idle fan mode is only a flip of a dual-BIOS switch away, and a pair of onboard fan headers stands ready to govern case fans in response to changes in GPU temperature.
If the ROG Strix isn’t your cup of tea, worry not. We’ll also offer versions of the card in a Dual EVO flavor for attainable twin-fan goodness and a Turbo EVO flavor for heat-banishing blower action, all with the same features of their higher-end brethren.
