The sophisticated technology, the fairly low heat development and of course the performance is more than decent speak for our review sample. The NVMe SSD also impresses in terms of battery life and power consumption. Even PS5 gamers can flirt with the ROG STRIX SQ7 SSD 1TB.

Before we get into testing, I’d like to mention a few extra features on this drive. For the security focused users this drive includes AES 256 bit Full Disk Hardware Encryption and is compliant with TCG Opal V2 and IEEE1667 standards. And lastly it comes with ROG SSD Dashboard to get all the stats for the drive, there is also NTI Backup Now software for those who currently don’t have any tool for that, which is a nice value add.

The device, which has an operating temperature between -40 and 60 degrees, has a very durable body. Asus TUF Gaming A1 has IP68 water and dust resistance and 810H 516.8 Drop Test certificates. The device, which we tested in harsh conditions in our review, managed to get full points from us in terms of durability.
