With strong performance across 1080p and 1440p displays, as well as a generous 12GB pool of fast GDDR6 RAM, NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3060 is a great all-rounder for mainstream gaming and content creation. ASUS engineers took this tantalizing GPU and developed three families of custom graphics cards, each tailored to the needs of different subsets of system builders. The uncompromising ROG Strix card delivers the best in performance and style for demanding enthusiasts. TUF Gaming blends subtle style with rock-solid fundamentals for builders who like to let their PCs’ performance do the talking. And the ASUS Dual card packs maximum performance into the smallest possible space for compact builds. No matter how you prefer to build, there's an ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 for you.

The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3060 has it all

The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3060 inherits a healthy dose of the latest ROG DNA from its Ampere stablemates to deliver uncompromising performance, temperatures, and noise levels for demanding enthusiasts. Its aggressive shroud design catches the eye with chiseled cutouts, striking striations, angular metallic accents bearing subtle ROG iconography, and a full-length addressable Aura RGB light strip on the left edge. In a new touch for ROG Strix, the metal backplate bears contrasting matte and brushed textures accented with more ROG cyber-text accents. We complete the look with an addressable RGB LED ROG logo to broadcast your allegiance to the Republic of Gamers from every angle.

The shroud wraps around a large 2.7-slot heatsink that carries heat away from the GPU through a baseplate finished with our MaxContact process. This finish improves contact with the GPU chip itself, increasing heat transfer into the heatpipes and fin stack above. The baseplate also covers the card's GDDR6 memory modules to keep them running at optimal temperatures.

Five heatpipes run through a high-surface-area fin stack to distribute and dissipate heat from the GPU, and three fans with our proven Axial-tech design provide plenty of focused airflow over the parts of the GPU heatsink that need it most without increasing noise levels. A cutout in the backplate allows hot air from the heatsink to more easily enter your case's natural airflow path for better overall system temperatures. And a pair of our FanConnect II headers allow your case fans to spin up in response to rising GPU temperatures, optimizing cooling performance under gaming loads.

The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3060 gives enthusiasts all the tools they need to take control of their graphics card, too. We select high-quality components for the power-delivery subsystem to ensure long life, reliable operation, and cool running even under overclocked loads. A sensitive transient-monitoring circuit watches the power flowing into the single eight-pin PCIe connector for troublesome drops in voltage from the power supply. If this circuit senses such a drop, a red LED will illuminate, potentially saving you hours of time troubleshooting elusive electrical issues. A dual-mode BIOS switch allows you to choose between Performance and Quiet firmware tunes for your preferred balance of noise levels and performance. And if you want to take tuning into your own hands, ASUS GPU Tweak software gives you full control over GPU core and memory clocks, fan speeds, and more.

The TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 speaks softly and carries a big stick

The TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 also enjoys a new style all its own for the Ampere generation. The monochrome alloy cooler shroud blends subtle brushed textures and new TUF Gaming graphics into a stealthy look that lets your build fly under the radar while still rewarding close inspection. An Aura RGB LED logo and light strip at the front corner of the card integrate seamlessly with the rest of your system's lighting scheme, or they can go dark for that murdered-out look. The choice is yours.

The style of the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 may favor subtlety, but its performance and cooling power are impossible to ignore. A 2.7-slot heatsink cools both the GPU and GDDR6 memory modules with aplomb, bolstered by the focused airflow from three fans built with our proven Axial-tech design.  A full-coverage aluminum backplate with a cutout for exhaust airflow further enhances cooling performance. And the dual-mode BIOS switch allows you to optimize fan speeds and noise levels to taste with one easy step.

The TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 isn't just primed to perform. It's built to keep that performance coming over years of reliable service. Extra-durable capacitors chosen for their military-grade specs are ready to stand up to heavy load in tandem with premium chokes and MOSFETs. Auto-Extreme assembly technology, used across our lineup, picks, places, and solders each component to the card's PCB without any human interaction for maximum precision and reliability. We subject every TUF Gaming graphics card to a grueling 144-hour validation process to ensure that each one can handle anything an enthusiast can throw at it, too.

The compact ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3060 brings big performance to small systems

ROG Strix and TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 cards are tailored to take full advantage of spacious mid towers, but we know many builders like to put as much power as possible into smaller microATX and Mini-ITX cases. For those builds, the ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3060 slims down for easy installation. Its 7.87" (20cm) length is an easy fit for most enclosures, and we took pains to pack great cooling performance into a shroud that fits strictly within a two-slot height limit for even easier compatibility.

The Dual GeForce RTX 3060 spins up a pair of fans with our proven Axial-tech design to focus airflow on an array of heatpipes and fins for potent cooling power within a small footprint. The blacked-out shroud features a subtle LED accent for a touch of visual intrigue, and high-contrast graphics on the protective metal backplate help keep the attention on the star of your gaming build. A 144-hour validation process ensures the Dual GeForce RTX 3060 is ready for reliable operation even in thermally dense small-form-factor builds, too.
