Hardware Canucks Reviews the ASUS G74SX-A1 Gaming Notebook
Canadian technophiles Hardware Canucks have just reviewed the latest G74SX-A1 gaming notebook. You can check the full 11 page review here. Please do drop by their site, but here's a quick quote for the tl;dr peeps:
The performance we saw was absolutely top notch in almost every category and it provides everything someone could possibly want in a mobile gaming platform. This may be far from the lightest or most portable device on the planet but its sort-of-sleek design does aid in certain ergonomic areas. The tactile keyboard, rubberized palm rest, responsive track pad and high quality 17” screen cater directly to the discerning needs of gamers but they’ll wow everyday consumers too. Sure, battery life isn’t the best and the omission of NVIDIA’s Optimus is disappointing but we can live without both in the desktop replacement market which the G74SX plays in.
