ARES II CrossFireX: 3DMark03 World Record
In order to pull off this amazing score, OCLab.ru put the pair of ARES II in a Maximus V Extreme motherboard, 8GB of DDR3 memory and added a liquid nitrogen cooled i7-3770k processor, running at a stunning 6,711MHz. In order to keep the four 7970 GHz Edition cores on the two ARES II's nice and cool, the hybrid watercooling set up was first cooled with liquid nitrogen placed on the sides of the radiators, and an additional 120mm fan added on top of the cards to remove any chance of hot air buildup within.
