ASUS Announces Its GTX 780 Ti Graphics Card
NVIDIA has officially launched the new Geforce GTX 780 Ti graphics card that will bring 25 percent more CUDA cores, PhysX and TXAA technologies as well as faster, smoother and sharper graphics. Backed by ASUS exclusive GPU Tweak technology, significant increases in both the CUDA core count and the clock speed, the new GTX 780 Ti will definitely take back the performance crown. Based on the 28nm GK110 GPU, the new GTX 780 Ti packs 2880 CUDA cores, 240 TMUs, 48 ROPs and 384-bit memory interface with 3GB of GDDR5 memory. The base GPU clock of 876MHz with GPU Boost that takes it up to 928MHz and 7000MHz for the memory, as well as the ASUS exclusive GPU Tweak utility that allows you to finely tune the GPU and video-memory clock speeds, voltages, cooling-fan speeds and power-consumption thresholds, the new ASUS GTX 780 Ti will deliver superb gaming performance and easy overclocking. The ASUS GTX 780 Ti also includes all the latest innovations to deliver faster, smoother and sharper graphics for the best gaming experience including NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0, which cranks up the GTX 780 Ti's clock speeds while allowing full control over the power and temperature, NVIDIA PhysX and for more accurate simulation of real-world physical interactions and NVIDIA TXAA temporal anti-aliasing technology, a Hollywood-style special effect that results in smoother and sharper graphics as well as the Geforce ShadowPlay, a recording utility that lets users capture their proudest gaming achievements even at Ultra High Definition (UHD/4K) resolution. The new ASUS GTX 780 Ti will also bring GPU Tweak Streaming tool that will allow users to share on-screen action over the internet in real time and allow them to add a title, scrolling text, picture and webcam images to the stream. The new ASUS GTX 780 Ti brings support for the latest DirectX 11.2 standard that enables on-GPU tessellation as well as built in NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround technology for multiple displays. The ASUS GTX 780 Ti will be available worldwide from 7th of November 2013 with a price set at US $699.99 ex. VAT. The price may vary depending on the region.
