Based on the Nvidia GK110 GPU with 2304 CUDA cores, the ROG GTX 780 Poseidon Platinum has quite a few aces up its sleeve that differentiate it from the competition, including the exceptional ROG design and new DirectCU H20 hybrid cooler. There is a factory overclock that takes it up to 954MHz for the GPU base and 1006MHz for the GPU Boost clock, which is far higher than reference 863MHz base and 900MHz boost clocks.

The card also has 10-phase DIGI+ VRM with Black Metallic Capacitors powered via 8+6-pin PCI-Express connectors, which ensure enough and stable power delivery even under further overclocking.

According to ReviewStudio.net, the ROG GTX 780 Poseidon Platinum is definitely the "dream card for many users that want to build a liquid cooling loop for their systems. The powerful GTX 780 chipset can face any gaming challenge while the hybrid DirectCU H2O cooler can keep the temperatures under a very strict control."
