CES 2016: ROG's Killer Peripherals - Claymore, Spatha and 7.1 Headset
At 2016 International CES in the ASUS Media Lounge, Las Vegas, USA. Exciting upcoming ROG peripherals were showcased, here is a gallery straight from the event and some videos of the Claymore gaming keyboard and Spatha gaming mouse. Both come with Aura RGB lighting to match the new range of Aura motherboards, all controlled by exclusive software.
ROG Claymore
ROG Claymore is a gaming keyboard with Cherry MX RGB mechanical switches (Red, Blue, Brown, and Black options) and a detachable numeric keypad with macro functions to give users flexible placement options.. This backlit keyboard features customizable keys with RGB lighting and N-key Rollover technology. It can be synced to ROG motherboards, with hotkeys allowing users to control fan speed, boot up, CPU and memory overclocking, and BIOS access. ROG Claymore has a durable aluminum-alloy frame with Mayan-inspired detailing for a premium look.
ROG Spatha
The soon-to-be-released ROG Spatha is a 8200 DPI laser gaming mouse crafted for MMO glory. It has a magnesium-alloy chassis and features a total of 12 programmable buttons, including six ergonomic thumb buttons. Its left and right buttons feature an easy-upgrade switch socket design for customizable click feel, with Omron switches giving users a 20-million-click lifespan. Users have the freedom to use it in wired or wireless modes, and can enjoy a polling rate of up to 2000Hz when in wired mode. In addition, it has customizable RGB LED effects across three zones.
ROG 7.1
To build on the success of Strix 7.1, the ROG 7.1 has made improvements to make true surround sound even better.
