ASUS Launches VG248QE 24 Inch 144Hz 3D Gaming Monitor
VG248QE
Following the 27 inch VG278HE the new ASUS VG248QE monitor continues the 144Hz trend, but this time in a 24-inch package. It has been purpose-designed for high-performance NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 or 'fast' 2D gaming, where the increased refresh rate gives incredibly smooth on-screen motion.
The VG248QE has a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution and an 80,000,000:1 ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio and 1ms (G2G) response time. It includes a full complement of HDMI, DisplayPort and dual-link DVI-D ports, and the display itself has tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustments.

PA249Q
For those wanting immense color and a 16:10 aspect ratio (1920 x 1200) over speed, the ProArt range has also been updated with the new PA249Q. It features a pre-calibrated IPS panel (∆E <5) and six-axis color control to yield the most accurate wide gamut color space reproduction — 99% Adobe RGB, 103% NTSC and 100% sRGB. Other features include the ASUS exclusive QuickFit Virtual Scale, four USB 3.0 ports, and the same full set of tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustments.
