2-way SLI and CrossFireX are supported with PCI-Express 3.0 lanes split 8x8 from the CPU. There's a bottom PCIe 4x slot from at the bottom too, and M.2 (PCIe 2x) supported between the two, red PCIe graphics slots. Additionally 8x SATA 6Gbps ports align the edge by the Z97 heatsink.
You may have noticed the red painted board! That's another ROG exclusive that mirrors the angular heatsink above. Inside, Extreme Engine DIGI+ III powers the LGA1150 socket.

SupremeFX Impact II packs the audio onto a separate PCB, isolating it from interference on the smaller PCB with limited space.
The rear IO has BIOS Flashback, ROG Connect, 4x USB 2.0, 4x USB 3.0, PS2 keyboard and mouse, S/PDIF out, HDMI out, Intel Gigabit Ethernet with LANGuard port and SupremeFX II impact audio with 3x 3.5mm jacks.
